After having studied Sociology at the University of Milan Bicocca and Identity and social change at the University of Urbino, she gained a Master’s degree in Training and organization. In 2005 she started working at Province of Milan where she collaborated as a researcher whit the local Migration observatory.
Since 2008 she has been working for the ISMU Foundation on national and international projects and research concerning integration as Regional Observatory for Integration and Multiethnicity of Lombardy Region (ORIM), Metropolis International project, Correlare. Consolidare reti regionali e locali per un’accoglienza responsabile (empowerment PA – supported by National authorities and EU found). She also collaborates in the organization of national and international conferences (Ismu national conference, ORIM national conference, Metropolis international conference etc.).
Head of Communication Office
Francesca Locatelli holds a Ph.D. in Public Law from University of Turin (Italy). Since 2006, she has worked for ISMU FOUNDATION participating in several projects on migrants’ integration. In addition, she has been on the staff of the Lombardy Regional Observatory for Integration and Multiethnicity (ORIM). Since 2015, she has been managing the coordination of all the Foundation’s communication activities: press office, newsletters, specific communication campaigns, public events, publications, website and social media.
International Relations, Project Manager, Senior Researcher
Guia Gilardoni is a senior research and a project manager. Her work focuses in particular on European migration and immigrant integration policy.
She is in charge for the Ismu Foundation’s International Relations and the development of international researches and projects. She coordinated the project KING – Knowledge for INtegration Governance (funded by European Commission Directorate – General Home Affairs, 2013-2014) and she is the coordinator of the ReSOMA project – Research SOcial platform on Migration and Asylum fundend under the H2020 (2018-2019).
Guia Gilardoni holds a PhD in Sociology and Research Methods from the Catholic University of Milan, where she specialized in the integration of young generations in multicultural society, and a bachelor’s degree in Modern History from the Bologna University.
